Storing large volumes of air, nitrox, or other gas allows you to fill your scuba or firefighting SCBA tanks much more quickly and efficiently than filling directly from the compressor. For instance, filling 4 standard scuba tanks on our YachtPro™ 55 system would take approximately 52 minutes. By contrast, filling the same 4 cylinders from a cascade system would take less than 5 minutes. This is especially important for firefighting considerations.
