On-demand production

A complete path to membrane-produced Nitrox

NitroxMaker Commercial Series systems condition and separate compressed air to create an oxygen-enriched permeate stream for a compatible high-pressure compressor. The system can be integrated with an existing filling operation or planned as part of a new compressor installation.

The modular packages combine a commercial rotary-screw compressor, refrigerated dryer, filtration, membrane controls, receiver, condensate management and dual gas-analysis points in a coordinated system. Vertical and horizontal arrangements are available depending on system size and installation requirements.

Built around the operation

Who is NitroxMaker designed for?

Dive shops and fill stations

Add membrane Nitrox production to a commercial tank-filling workflow and size the system around daily and peak demand.

Dive boats and liveaboards

Evaluate onboard production based on available power, machinery space, ventilation, waste-gas routing and expected cylinder volume.

Yachts and private dive programs

Plan a self-contained onboard system around the vessel’s high-pressure compressor and diving itinerary.

Resorts and training operations

Support recurring Nitrox demand with a system selected for operating schedule, fill volume and available utilities.

Commercial and research diving

Define the required mixture, monitoring, production demand and documentation for the specific operating program.

Existing compressor upgrades

Review compatibility with an installed high-pressure compressor before selecting the correct NMCS size and connection arrangement.

How it works

From ambient air to a monitored Nitrox mixture

The exact installation is application-specific, but every project begins with the same core workflow.

Compress and condition the air

A rotary-screw compressor, dryer and filtration array prepare the feed air for the membrane.

Separate the gas stream

The membrane produces an adjustable oxygen-enriched permeate stream while the elevated-nitrogen waste stream is routed to a suitable outside location.

Feed the high-pressure compressor

The conditioned Nitrox stream is transferred to a compatible high-pressure compressor for final compression.

Monitor the final mixture

Dual analyzers allow monitoring at the NitroxMaker output and downstream of the high-pressure compressor.

Commercial Series

Choose a system sized for your compressor and demand

NMCS model selection depends on the high-pressure compressor, required production rate, operating schedule, power and installation conditions. LW Americas can review the application and recommend the appropriate configuration.

Need a different size? NitroxMaker systems can be configured from approximately 5 to 40 hp, with larger special-request systems available. Vertical or horizontal arrangements and separate receiver configurations may be used depending on system size. Final sizing should be confirmed against the intended high-pressure compressor and operating profile.

Frequently asked questions

NitroxMaker system questions

What Nitrox mixtures can the system produce?

NitroxMaker systems are designed to produce adjustable oxygen-enriched mixtures from approximately 21% up to 40%. The operating procedure and final mixture must be verified with the system’s gas analyzers.

Can NitroxMaker work with an existing high-pressure compressor?

It may be integrated with many commercial high-pressure compressor systems, but compatibility and sizing must be reviewed using the compressor manufacturer, model, capacity, power and installation conditions.

Can the high-pressure compressor still pump regular air?

Yes. The published NMCS documentation states that the high-pressure compressor can continue pumping approximately 21% air when the NitroxMaker system is not operating.

Which NMCS model do I need?

Systems are available from approximately 5 to 40 hp, with larger configurations available by special request. Selection depends on the connected high-pressure compressor, required Nitrox volume, operating schedule, electrical supply and installation. LW Americas can recommend a configuration after reviewing those details.

Is NitroxMaker suitable for installation aboard a vessel?

The systems may be considered for dive boats, liveaboards and yachts. Available power, ventilation, equipment space, access, drainage, cooling and safe routing of the waste-gas vent must be reviewed for the vessel.

What maintenance does the system require?

The published materials describe an annual compressor service schedule, with low-pressure filters changed as required by use or at least annually. The final maintenance plan should follow the documentation for the quoted system.
